Fears have calmed for the safety of patients at a psychiatric hospital on the north side of Dublin following an overnight fire.

Fears have calmed for the safety of patients at a psychiatric hospital on the north side of Dublin following an overnight fire.

Up to eight units of Dublin fire brigade attended the blaze at a disused outbuilding, in the grounds of St. Ita's hospital in Portrane shortly before 11pm.
