Trade unions bid to save Shorts job

Trade unions at Belfast aerospace company Shorts are tonight seeking cross-party Westminster support urging the British government to save jobs in the firm.

Canadian parent company Bombardier announced last week that 1,200 workers face redundancy because of a fall in aircraft orders.
