Man arrested in fake sportwear probe

A 50-year-old has been arrested in connection with the seizure of counterfeit fake goods, gardaí revealed tonight.

Up to 50 boxes of counterfeit sportswear were seized during a raid on a warehouse close to the Armagh border.

The man has been held for questioning at Dundalk Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

The man can be held for a maximum of 12 hours.
