Shopkeepers warned to obey new pricing rules

The Consumers Association has welcomed the new laws which come into force today forcing shops to display prices for all packaged products.

Shopkeepers will now have to display a price for all goods sold by quantity such as milk and tea, with fines of up to €3000 for those who fail to do so.
