The off duty garda who was killed in a road accident early this morning in Co Cork has been named.

The off duty garda who was killed in a road accident early this morning in Co Cork has been named.

He was 22-year-old Evan Lillis, a native of Scotstown in Co Monaghan and resident in Macroom, Co Cork.
