Government accused of delaying 'free-to-air' list

The Government is being accused of delaying measures to guarantee the "free-to-air" broadcasting of major sporting events.

A bill published today provides for a court order which can be used where no agreement on the screening the event has been satisfactorily reached between RTE, TV3 and and Irish sporting bodies.
