We can't wait forever for deal - Ahern

Parties engaged in efforts to restore devolution in Northern Ireland must reach an agreement soon, Taoiseach Bertie Ahern said today.

After talks in Downing Street with Tony Blair, Mr Ahern said good progress had been made and that he was hopeful of more next week when the two leaders travel to Hillsborough Castle for more crucial discussions.
