INO suspends hospital strike after LRC intervention

The Irish Nurses Organisation has suspended industrial action in nine hospitals pending consideration of proposals which emerged from talks at the Labour Relations Commission yesterday.

INO theatre nurses had been engaged in a series of work stoppages as part of a dispute over "paltry" payments for on-call duties.
