Senator calls for Irish honours system

Fine Gael Senator, Michael Finucane, called for an Honours List to be established in Ireland so that Ireland can pay tribute to outstanding citizens.

His comments came after child welfare campaigner Christina Noble - was today honoured with a similar British accolade in London from Prince Charles for her work in Vietnam with children through her Christina Noble foundation.
