Taoiseach says rent legislation will be drafted

The Taoiseach has told the Dáil that new legislation dealing with landlords will come before the Oireachtas in this session.

Bertie Ahern was responding to questions from Joe Higgins of the Socialist Party, who said the Government, despite it's promises, has done nothing for vulnerable tenants in the rented sector.
