Former Taoiseach Garret Fitzgerald has paid tribute to former Chief Justice Tom O'Higgins, who died overnight at the age of 86.

Former Taoiseach Garret Fitzgerald has paid tribute to former Chief Justice Tom O'Higgins, who died overnight at the age of 86.

Mr O'Higgins, a former Fine Gael Minister for Health and Judge at the European Court, is survived by his wife, Terry, seven children and 30 grandchildren.
