Ahern to outline funding commitments

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern is to outline areas earmarked for funding under the proposed new social partnership agreement during a speech later today.

Mr Ahern is expected to say that spending on social and quality-of-life issues will be directed towards those who need it most.
