Three people are due in court today on charges relating to dissident republican terrorist activities.

Last night a 26-year-old man became the third person to face charges relating to dissident republican arms finds in Northern Ireland.

The man will appear before Enniskillen magistrates along with a 50-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman following searches which have been taking place throughout the weekend in the Donagh area of Co Fermanagh.

He was charged last night with membership of the Continuity IRA, of possessing items of use to terrorists and conspiracy to cause an explosion.

Earlier the 50-year-old man was charged with conspiracy to cause an explosion, possession of items of use to terrorists, possession of explosives, possession of firearms and ammunition and membership of the Continuity IRA.

Police also charged the 46-year-old woman with conspiracy to cause an explosion and possession of items of use to terrorists.

The Continuity IRA has traditionally been responsible for dissident republican terror activity against the peace process in Co Fermanagh.
