Sligo death: Second man held

Gardaí investigating the death of a young Albanian woman in Co Sligo are holding a second man for questioning.

The man was being interviewed in Sligo. A second man was arrested yesterday in nearby Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim in connection with the death.

The dead woman, who was in her mid-twenties and named locally as Lindita Kokaii, had lived in Sligo for some time.

She was found dead early yesterday. Gardaí have yet to say how she died, but sources have reported that violence was involved.

A post mortem was being performed today at Sligo General Hospital.
