Mother-of-two murder probe continues
A murder investigation was continuing today after the death of a Jamaican woman who was found in an apartment in north Dublin.
The 24-year-old was found by relatives in a flat in Phibsboro yesterday afternoon and was dead on arrival in hospital.
Gardai said the mother-of-two, who had been living and working in Ireland for some time, appeared to have received a number of blows from a blunt instrument.
She was named locally as Natasha Gray but will not be formally identified until all relatives are informed.
Post-mortem tests were carried out by the Deputy State Pathologist and the apartment was preserved for forensic examination.
Nobody has been arrested over the death but gardai said they were following a definite line of inquiry.
