Dempsey heckled at first of teacher meetings

The Minister for Education was last night greeted with heckles by teachers in Lucan in Dublin on the first of his eight planned nationwide meetings.

Noel Dempsey has arranged the meetings in a bid to win support for supervision and substitution duties and provide information on a new pay deal.
