Taxi stoppages continue this week
SIPTU taxi drivers will again stop taking passengers in Dublin this week in protest over what they claim are the falling standards of the industry since deregulation was introduced.
SIPTU drivers will start their stoppage tomorrow at 7pm and continue until 11pm.
Today, SIPTU drivers will not be taking passengers until lunchtime, 1pm.
On Wednesday, services at Dublin Airport, Heuston Station and Busarus between 9a.m. and 12 noon will be cut.
Finally, on Thursday, SIPTU drivers will not drive passengers to the airport from 7pm until 11pm.
