Galway car crash kills one and injures two

Gardai in Galway are investigating a serious car accident last night which left a 27-year-old man dead and two people injured.

The accident, involving two cars, happened on the Galway to Tuam road at around 11.45pm last night.

The 27-year-old victim was driving one of the cars and his body was taken to University College Hospital in Galway.

A 26-year-old male passenger was also injured as was the 37-year-old driver of the second car.
