Gardai investigate double shooting in Cork

The double shooting of two teenagers is being investigated in Co Cork.

The bodies of a young woman and man were discovered around 9pm last night at a rented house in Bishopstown.

Their bodies were discovered in the Cedar Grove area of Bishopstown in Cork City.

Gardai were notified after 10pm that the bodies of the two, believed to be a couple, had been discovered by a relative in the Bishopstown residence.

Gardai at Togher Garda Station confirmed that the bodies had been discovered by a parent of one of the deceased who had gone to search for the couple.
