Govt urged to take account of opposition to war

The Irish Anti-War Movement has urged the Government to listen to and take account of the massive public opposition to any US-led war against Iraq.

Green Party chairman John Gormley, a member of the movement, said recent opinion polls throughout the world highlight the lack of support for US/British plans to attack Iraq.
