Man held in connection with suspicious death

A man was arrested today in connection with the suspicious death of a woman in Co Antrim.

Police confirmed that the man was helping with their inquiries after the woman’s body was discovered at a house at Whitelodge Court, Greenisland on the northern outskirts of Belfast.

The dead woman, who was believed to be in her 40s, was discovered around 9.30pm yesterday.

A police spokeswoman confirmed a post-mortem was being carried out today.
