ASTI surprised at Dempsey intentions

The Association of Secondary Teachers in Ireland says it is surprised at the intentions of the Education Minister to hold information meetings on the issue of supervision and substitution.

The Department of Education and the ASTI have so far failed to reach agreement in recent months on the issue of pay for teachers who supervise classes and substitute for colleagues.
