Post early if you want to be a Valentine

An Post has advised the public to post Valentine's cards by tomorrow at the latest to ensure that they arrive at their destination before February 14.

The company has promised there will be no repeat of the Christmas fiasco which saw more than one million cards left undelivered over the festive period due to sorting problems.

An Post said as long the address and postage are correct and the card is posted early, it will arrive on time.
