Inquiry into Abbeylara death due to begin

The inquiry established to investigate the Garda killing of 27-year-old John Carthy is due to begin in Longford today.

Mr Carthy was shot by members of the Emergency Response Unit three years ago following a 25-hour siege at his home in Abbeylara, Co Longford.
