Republicans blamed for coffee-jar bomb
Dissident republicans are being blamed for a home-made bomb thrown into a police station in Co Tyrone.
The bomb was thrown inside the perimeters of the station. British army bomb disposal experts then called to the scene in Stewartstown.
Officers say that the coffee-jar device was discovered following reports of an explosion last night.
Meanwhile, a 27-year-old man has been taken to hospital in Belfast after being shot in both legs in the Ballysillan area of the city's northside.
