Frank Dunlop has told the Flood tribunal he first established contact with politicians in relation to planning in 1990.

Senior Council for Tony Fox, from Dundrum in Dublin, questioned Mr Dunlop at length this morning.

Mr Dunlop told the tribunal that he set up his own public relations company in late 1989.

He told the tribunal that he first started dealing with politicians on matters of land rezoning in 1990.

He also told the tribunal that he dealt regularly on other matters when he worked for another public relations company prior to 1989, but not on rezoning issues.

The former government press secretary has told Mr Justice Flood he has not misled the tribunal since April of last year.
