The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has re-iterated his intention to review the US military use of Shannon Airport if the United States goes to war against Iraq.

Speaking in the Dail this afternoon, Mr Ahern said: "In the event of military action being initiated against Iraq, either with or without UN sanction, the Government will review the situation, initiate a debate in the Dail and that remains our position."
