Police in the North are investigating an arson attack on a Belfast army barracks.

Police in the North are investigating an arson attack on a Belfast army barracks.

The device exploded on Haywood avenue off the Upper Ormeau Road at 7.30pm.

No one was injured during the incident.

A PSNI Spokesperson has described the incident as reckless.
