A fourth person who was being questioned in Limerick in relation to the killing of Kieran Keane, has been released.

He was arrested on Thursday in connection with the shooting of Keane in the city last Wednesday, and was being held in Roxborough Road garda station.

He was released this morning. A file is being prepared for the DPP.

This follows the release late last night of a man and a woman arrested in Tipperary, also in connection with the murder of Kieran Keane.

The two, who are in their thirties, were released from Mayorstone garda station at around 10pm last night.
