O'Caolain accuses Govt of schools disgrace

Sinn Féin's Caoimhin O'Caolain says the number of dilapidated schools around the country is disgraceful.

The Cavan-Monaghan TD insists that the Minster for Education's commitment to school renovation and construction will make no difference.

Deputy O'Caolain says the level of funding to take sub-standard school buildings out of the dark ages is negligible.

He said the government have failed to bring forward new works and construction at primary and post primary level.
