FAI to study EU TV rights ruling

The FAI said today that it would carefully study any decision from the EU in relation to the TV rights issue and analyse in detail the possible implications for the financing of Irish football.

"The continuing development of football in Ireland means there is a clear need to secure the maximum possible revenues from all income streams including TV rights, Government support and match revenues," a spokesman said.
