Redmond trial to go ahead in May

The trial of former public official George Redmond for alleged corruption concerning land rezoning decisions in west Dublin in the 1980s has been set for May 19.

The one-time assistant Dublin city and county manager faces four charges of corruption relating to the sale and compulsory purchase of land.
