Woman arrested after attack on US Navy plane

Gardai in Co Clare have arrested a 50-year-old woman in connection with an alleged attack on a US Navy plane in Shannon Airport this morning.

The woman, a member of the Shannon Peace Camp, was arrested shortly after 6am on suspicion of causing criminal damage and can be held for up to 12 hours.
