A 22 year-old Carlow man on trial for murder was "adamant" that the knife he threatened his 17 year-old victim with made impact because the victim’s girlfriend swung him around in the direction of the knife.

A 22 year-old Carlow man on trial for murder was "adamant" that the knife he threatened his 17 year-old victim with made impact because the victim’s girlfriend swung him around in the direction of the knife.

At the Central Criminal Court today Det Garda Colm Moran was giving evidence on the sixth day of the trial of John Dillon, of Granby Row, Carlow. Dillon denies the murder of Mr Warren Slater outside a house at Granby Row, Carlow on May 13, 2001.
