Two men in hospital after shootings
Two men were being treated in hospital today after being shot in separate paramilitary-style attacks in Northern Ireland.
A 19-year-old was shot in the right leg in Newtownards, Co Down after being snatched off the street by a carload of men as he walked alone.
Four men wearing balaclava masks seized the teenager, bundled him into the vehicle and drove to the West Winds estate on the edge of town where they shot him at the rear of a row of shops.
The second man, aged in his 30s, was shot in both ankles in the Mulberry Park area of Dunmurry on the southern outskirts of Belfast, said police.
