Labour seeks Dail debate on US use of Shannon

Labour Party leader Pat Rabbitte has called for a Dail debate on the US military use of Shannon Airport when TDs return from their Christmas break next week.

Mr Rabbitte has urged the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern to clarify the Government's position regarding the provision of facilities in Shannon to the US Air Force.
