The Labour Party has criticised the Government's decision to reduce funding for the IDA as part of a recent round of cutbacks.

Speaking following news of 315 job losses in Dublin and Cork today, party spokesman Brendan Howlin said this reduction in funding has exacerbated the problems caused by the international economic downturn.
