UUP to boycott round-table talks
The Ulster Unionist Party has announced plans to boycott this afternoon's round-table talks at Stormont, due to be chaired by the Irish and British governments.
In a statement released this afternoon, party leader David Trimble said the talks would merely divert attention away from the real issue threatening the Irish peace process, namely IRA decommissioning and disbandment.
