Last Harland and Wolff-built vessel officially named
The last vessel likely to be built at Belfast's Harland and Wolff shipyard has been officially named.
The 22,000-tonne Anvil Point is a roll-on, roll-off ferry built for a British shipping consortium.
Harland and Wolff chief executive Bill Alexander said the ferry would be the last delivery from the Belfast shipyard in the immediate future, but he said it did not mean that the company is now defunct.
The troubled firm has been haemorrhaging workers for decades.
