Unionist warns Orde could make paramilitaries 'martyrs'

A unionist Assemblyman has criticised PSNI chief constable Hugh Orde's promise to arrest loyalist paramilitaries for other offences in order to take them off the streets of the North.

North Down MLA Robert McCartney warned that the policy would make martyrs of paramilitaries.
