Taoiseach begins visit to Mexico

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern began his visit to Mexico today and pledged even closer future co-operation.

During a welcoming ceremony in Mexico City, Ahern said he wanted to increase economic ties between the two countries, and said he had arrived with several Irish business leaders who were looking for trade opportunities.
