Martin calls on INO to withdraw strike threat

Health Minister Micheal Martin has called on the Irish Nurses Organsation to withdraw its threat to take industrial action because of the hospital overcrowding crisis.

The INO issued the threat as patients were told to stay away from accident and emergency units in Dublin unless they are seriously ill or injured.
