Fianna Fail general secretary Martin Mackin has announced plans to resign his position to take up a fellowship at Harvard University in the United States.

Fianna Fail general secretary Martin Mackin has announced plans to resign his position to take up a fellowship at Harvard University in the United States.

Mr Mackin, who has been Fianna Fail general secretary for the last five years, will spend three months at the Institute of Politics at the John F Kennedy school of government in Harvard.
