Ahern to begin six-day trip to Mexico

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, is due to fly to Mexico this afternoon on an official six-day visit.

Mr Ahern will be accompanied by his partner, Celia Larkin, Government officials and an Irish trade delegation.

During his trip, he will meet Mexican President Vicente Fox as well as Mexican businessmen and women in an effort to secure investment in Ireland.
