Nine injured during crash

Nine people have been taken to hospital after a major crash on the main Dublin-to-Belfast road.

The accident happened at 12.15pm at Pilltown cross.

The road had been closed but has been reopened in the last hour.

The five woman and four men have been taken to our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Drogheda for treatment.
