Talks on a social partnership agreement to replace the Programme for Prosperity and Fairness have resumed at government buildings in Dublin.

Trade unions and employers' representatives both accepted an invitation from the Government to reconvene the negotiations, which collapsed before Christmas due to the failure to reach a compromise.
