Man in hospital after Co Antrim shooting

A 37-year-old man was being treated in hospital tonight after a shooting incident at a house in Co Antrim in the North.

The incident occurred at a premises in Dunluskin Gardens, Carrickfergus shortly before 9pm.

It is understood the man is being treated at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.

A police spokeswoman said no other details were available but detectives appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
