A man is being treated in hospital this morning following a shooting in the North overnight.

A man is being treated in hospital this morning following a shooting in the North overnight.

The 29-year-old was shot once in the left leg shortly before 9pm last night.

The incident occurred on Glenkeen Drive in the Greenisland area of Belfast.

Police are now investigating the incident.
