Gardai probe delivery of coffin, bullet to county manager

Investigations into the delivery of a miniature coffin and a bullet to the home of a county manager are continuing.

The package, which also contained a note, was delivered to the Athlone home of Roscommon county manager, John Tiernan, on Christmas Eve.

Gardai have already questioned An Post officials to try to identify the source.
