The Irish Farmers Association has said they believe the Government has sufficient funding left to restore farm investment schemes to the original levels set under the National Development Plan, despite financial cuts in the sector.

The IFA has claimed €200m has been lost to farming because of cuts in the Budget and the Department of Agriculture spending for the coming year.
